Did You Know?
Critical Illness Insurance with the bank

Did you Know that some Critical Illness insurance sold by banks stipulates that the Critical Illness must be diagnosed in Canada in order for it to pay out?

It’s true!

When I declined the critical illness insurance from my bank, I asked them if I could have the booklet about it anyway. They obliged, and there it was – not even in the fine print!

If your prospects or clients tell you they got C.I. with the bank, review the booklet with them: cheap insurance is cheap for a reason! The booklet will outline those reasons.

Your value-added is to help your clients understand the impact of the buts, if, ands and wherefores – and the options available to them.
